JMP is a statistical software that is free for academic and research use. It is a 12-month licensure, and eligibility must be reviewed annually - whether you are a new user or an existing user. 

Clicking "Get JMP for Free" will either sign up a new user for JMP or start the renewal process for existing users. 

After completing the verification/eligibility process, you'll be taken to a "Download" page. It is optional to install the latest version of JMP, but at this point your JMP account has been renewed. You should now be able to open your currently installed JMP software, and it should recognize the new license. 

*Please note that multiple versions of JMP can be installed on the same machine. JMP recommends that you remove older versions before installing the latest version.
